Pollenca is one of the oldest settlements on Majorca and steeped in history. It is located a stone´s throw away from the most northern tip of Majorca, the picturesque half-island Formentor with its Caribbean dream beach Cala Pino de la Posada, often abbreviated to “Cala Pi”.

The town has been spared from too much touristic development, but together with its noble yacht harbour Port de Pollenca has always been a perfect base to reach the most beautiful beaches and hiking trails of the island.

Despite some very characteristic Majorcan features, the small town with its tightly woven net of narrow alleys and houses hosting elegant restaurants in the romantic old town, also reminds of a typical Tuscan scenery and ambience.
