A top-notch golf course! Opened only in 2007, this golf course boasts the best of everything, including its club house. The fairways and greens are impeccably manicured. Many challenging obstacles and endless views across the Palma Bay and the valley of Sant Jordi into Tramuntana Mountains. The natural course without any urban developments provides for extra-ordinary rewarding golf experiences, unfortunately not for beginners.

6. Real Club: Golf course Bendinat, Mallorca
The „royal“ golf club features one of the best courses on Majorca. You might not see royalty, but Michael Douglas and many other Hollywood celebrities are regulars. The last 9 holes are amidst breathtaking scenery, which you can take literally, when doing the steep elevations without a golf cart. Wide fairways allow some hooks and slices, but there are shorter ones which ask for precision.

This rambling course with stunning panoramic views is very popular among golfers of all handicaps, so make sure you book your tee-off time well in advance. Long fairways, but not explicitly difficult, make the course suitable for beginners. Finca-style club house with a charming patio.

This course is a favorite among „long hitters“. Ample space, flat and long. But of course the long fairways can also be very challenging. A beautiful course with fantastic training facilities to improve on your handicap. The country club also features a very recommendable spa facilities.

9. Golf de Andratx, Mallorca
„Long and tight – not every golfer´s delight”. Beautiful course, but difficult. Due to the many steep elevations, the golf cart is a must on this course. Some tee-offs offer breath-taking sea views. Not suitable for beginners, and also experienced golfers will humbly give in to some of its challenges. The best way to cool down feelings after the game is to be spoilt on Pino´s clubhouse terrace.

10. Golf Son Termens
Situated within Tramuntana Mountains it is the highest course on Majorca with spectacular unspoilt views into the valley. 60 bunkers and a goat here and there, try to stop you to hole. Narrow fairways usually uphill do not make the game easier. Precision and good tactics required – and a decent physical condition for the last 9 holes, when going by foot. Not suitable for beginners.

11. Golf de Pollenca
Just 9 holes – but high-class, challenging and well worth playing. The club house boasts spectacular sea views across the bay of Port de Pollenca. The 9th hole, a Par 5, is considered to be one of the most beautiful on the island.

12. Club de Golf Alcanada
One of the most beautiful golf courses of the island. 16 of the 18 holes boast breathtaking sea views. According to its architect Robert Trend Jones, the course layout is patterned on waves. The golfer however, feels more reminded to visit the driving range more often in order to meet all the requirements for this course.

A PGA-tournament course! It is here where the pros play, but also amateurs will have their fair share of fun. Not suitable for beginners. Difficult course, challenging even the best golf players. Narrow fairways, many obstacles, but a impeccably manicured greens. On clear days you can see Menorca from hole 5. No fun for beginners.

Very British! This club is predominantly occupied by British players - so both, the club members as well as the Green-fee-buyers here are all high-class players. Extremely narrow fairways lined by high pine trees characterise the course. With a high 2-digit handicap we recommend to leave the clubs in the bag and the beginners in the club house.

A very prestigious course owned by the5* Finca-Hotel La Reserva Rotana. Normally only guests and their friends are allowed to play here, but fincaurlaub.de guests are also admitted. Due to its many slanting fairways, the course is not easy to play.

An extra-ordinary routing and modern design characterize this golf course. Completed only in 2006, on 60 hectares of ground and a modern club house, the course offers a well-balanced range of challenging and manageable holes. A special golf academy for children aims at introducing the golf sport to the next generation.

The younger of the two Marriott Resort golf courses near Llucmajor offers many strategic challenges. It is as generously designed as the Eastern course, but already at hole 1 your skills will be put to test by a huge water obstacle. Hole 5 also requires great concentration and sensitiveness, as the green is right in front of the water.

Some long and wide fairways, lined by oak and pine trees, will excuse a certain level of imprecise golf, but beginners and skilled golfers will both have to fully concentrate, when arriving at the shorter holes. The German Golf Academy teaches on this golf course. Their special training programs aim at empowering total beginners to acquire their official license to play golf courses within 1-2 weeks.

Mit durchschnittlich 7,8 Sonnenstunden täglich ist Mallorca die Golf-Destination schlechthin.
